We will begin our journey through the enneagram by talking about the heart or feeling triad - types 2, 3, and 4. Nicholas will lead a discussion in the cafe section of East West bookstore.

From Riso/Hudson - The Wisdom of the Enneagram:

"The three types of the feeling triad are primarily concerned with the development of a self-image. They compensate for a lack of deeper connection with the Essential qualities of the heart by erecting a false identity and becoming identified with it. They then present this image to others (as well as to themselves) in the hope that it will attract love, attention, approval, and a sense of value."

We will also discuss the possibility of having some longer meetups.

East West asks that everyone attending make a small purchase at the cafe.

    I enjoyed the Enneagram meetup despite the noise. I am not adverse to people sharing their type number, although I do understand that people need to go through a "process" to figure out what theirs is. Tuesdays is not always my best night for meeting, although Tuesdays do work for me in Aug & Sept.

Who attended?

    • “ Good to get together, and listen to others, or particularly Nicholas. I don't object to people letting others know what their Enneagram type is, although I understand one whould go through a "process" to figure it out. ”
